Since the foundation of the motorsport team Manthey-Racing, the organisers’ association Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring, VLN for short, has been one of the hobbyhorses of the company from Meuspath. In this racing series, which has been held at the Nürburgring since 1977, the team is the sole record holder with over 50 victories in individual races to date and has always been able to leave the competition behind.
The Manthey Racing Team also competed in the 2018 VLN season with the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Grello livery. With drivers Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and Earl Bamber and the number 911, they won the first round on 24 March.
The 1/18th scale model was produced in the usual high Ixo quality and reflects the original in the best possible way.
